Description:

ThyroSel® is a food supplement with an innovative combination of inorganic and organic selenium and zinc citrate, useful in case of low dietary intake or increased nutritional requirements.

Contains:

• 200 mcg Selenium in the form

Selenite (Inorganic Form of Selenium) and L-Selenomethionine (Organic Form of Selenium)

• 8 mg Zinc (Zinc Citrate)

Selenium contributes to the normal thyroid and to normal spermatogenesis. Zinc has a role in the process of cell division and contributes to normal DNA synthesis- normal acid-base metabolism and normal fertility and reproduction. Selenium and Zinc contribute to the normal function of the immune system.

Characteristics: Selenium is an essential micronutrient. The combination of the organic and inorganic form of Selenium reports a positive response in relation to bioavailability and glutathione peroxidase activity. Zinc is an important trace element for all life forms and its importance lies in the fact that a key component is a large number of enzymes (>300) involved in the synthesis and degradation of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and nucleic acids, as well as in the metabolism of other micronutrients.

Innovation and Technology: The innovative and unique composition of ThyroSel® ensures high absorption and maximum bioavailability. Selenite seems to be distributed to organs and body fluids more efficiently and universally than L-Selenomethionine while in turn L-Selenomethionine can be introduced directly into all proteins and does not only serve as a source of selenium for selenoprotein biosynthesis. In addition, selenite can be used directly for selenoprotein biosynthesis or excreted by excess intake after hepatic conversion by the urine. In addition, zinc is in the absorbable form of citrate to ensure its maximum absorption.

ThyroSel® is available in an innovative formulation as its tablets are dispersible in the mouth and chewable. This form gives ThyroSel® faster disintegration and higher absorption. ThyroSel ® has a pleasant blueberry flavor. In addition, ThyroSel® is lactose and gluten free, that features make it ideal for use by people with intolerance problems.

Mode of use: The recommended daily intake is 1 tablet per day, or as directed by your doctor, regardless of meals. Chew the tablet or allow it to dissolve in your mouth. (tablets are dissolved in about 4 minutes)
